TDK Invensense rides again! Plus Sensors Converge Q&As

With only two weeks left to pack and plan for Sensors Converge 2026, May 5-7, here’s a handy update on recently-featured event highlights. To attend, registration is available online.
TDK, always a big Sensors Converge exhibitor, announced via press release a full plate of custom sensing solutions for physical AI applications at the event, including at its booth #722. TDK’s focus is on solutions from InvenSense, a TDK Group company.
InvenSense CTO Omar Abed is delivering the May 6 morning keynote, “Reimaging the Human-Machine Interface: AI-Integrated Smart Glasses Powered by Advanced Sensors.”
Then, InvenSense Director Jim Lin will be at the Live Theater later that morning in a session, “Visualizing the Future of Sensors Evaluation and Fusion.” He will demonstrate new software to address IMU validation to help developers assess sensor performance.
The booth will be busy with sensors for smart glasses and gaming, automotive-grade MEMS sensors, and other MEMS. Advanced sensor fusion software for more accurate sensing in cars, robots and other devices will be featured.
TDK also said it will announce and showcase a new AI sensor solution to help create synthetic data.
If that’s not enough, InvenSense CEO Joseph Bousaba is a finalist for Executive of the Year at the Best of Sensors Awards, May 6, 5:30 p.m.
Quick Q&As, featuring session speakers and Fierce, have run in recent weeks in Fierce Sensors. Here are several in order of the Sensors Converge timetable:
May 6, 11:30 a.m. Neeraj Pramodkumar from Qualcomm delivers the address, “Intelligent Wearables: The Convergence of Sensors, Edge AI and Connectivity.”
May 6, 2:30 p.m. Taylor Gage from Texas Instruments speaks on “Safety of the Intended Functionality: The Linchpin of Advancing Vehicle Autonomy.”
May 6, 4 p.m. Gleb Akselrod from Lumotive discusses “Unlocking the Vision AI Machines Need to Transform Industries.”
May 7, 9 a.m. Pankaj Kedia from 2468 Ventures delivers the keynote, “The Edge AI Revolution: Next Generation Devices and Sensors.”
May 7, 9:30 a.m. Prasanthi Yerra from Analog Devices speaks on “Cost-Efficient Isolated Data Links for Real-Time High-Res Images in Invasive Medical Devices.”
