Of 32 countries surveyed by Statista Consumer Insights,  about how high a priority they give to climate change, none puts it No.1 and Japan rates it the highest – putting it No.5 in its order of prorities.

Japan is followed by China and India who rank it 7th. However only 27% in China and 21% in India ranked the climate change issue as severe.

Among developed nations such as France, Germany, South Korea or the U.S., worry about climate change hovered between 23 and 28 percent.
