Midas Displays shines spotlight on Aurum TFT display series

An embedded option based on Bridgetek’s BT817 advanced video engine IC is also available, said the Great Yarmouth-based company.

Aurum

The Aurum range has been designed for readability in any environment, says Midas. For example, industrial or agricultural. There’s a common flex design to simplify mechanical integration, switchable USB / I2C PCAP touch for control flexibility, and interface support for RGB, LVDS, HDMI, and an embedded BT817 video engine option.

Developed in the UK by the Midas Displays engineering team, the series is initially available in 4.3”, 5.0”, 7.0” and 10.1” options.

Described as high-bright displays, for maximum visibility in demanding environments, each module offers USB & I²C switchable optional PCAP touch for enhanced user interaction.

Midas Displays also highlights its UK-based engineering design and support, as warranty, for easier project integration.

Ben Halpin, Director of People & Communications at Midas Displays, commented ahead of the event.

“I am really looking forward to our first experience of exhibiting at Hardware Pioneers. We have visited the show in previous years and have been impressed with the show, and it’s exciting that it has now been moved to a larger venue at Excel London.”

“We have expanded our team over the past 12-18 months, and it will be another good opportunity to have some of our newer team members discuss our brilliant products with new and existing customers.”
