Iqunix Reveals Ghost in the Shell Edition EV63 Hall Effect Gaming Keyboards

In terms of hardware, the PCB, plate, and connectivity specifications all remain the same—the EV63 has an aluminium plate, CNC aluminium case, and a tray-mount design that supports aftermarket GH60-style cases, like that of the Wooting 60HE and 60HE v2. One major change that isn’t immediately obvious is that the Ghost in the Shell EV63 versions come with Keytok Nova switches by default, which are lightweight (35-48 gf) linear magnetic switches with 3.4 mm of total travel. The Nova switches are widely regarded in keyboard enthusiast circles to have a deep sound and a decently stable stem with smooth actuation. Similarly to Gateron’s new Dual-Drive design, the Nova’s have the magnet freely floating in the switch for more consistent actuation and a more pleasant top-out sound. Exact launch and pricing information is still to be disclosed, but the anime is slated to debut in July, so it’s likely the keyboards will be available a while before then to build anticipation for the anime.
