Dell Introduces XPS 13 at $600, MacBook Neo Meets its Match

Dell, at Computex 2026, unveiled the new XPS 13. This is a 13-inch ultraportable notebook that’s purpose-built to compete with the Apple MacBook Neo. The notebook is built in an aluminium unibody chassis that’s both thinner and 20% lighter than a MacBook Neo. It comes with a vibrant 2.5K touchscreen display that meets 100% DCI-P3 and comes with anti-glare treatment. You get two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports that double up as charging ports. A 53 Wh battery outclasses the 36.5 Wh battery of the Neo, providing all-day battery life. Under the hood, the Dell XPS 13 is driven by an Intel Core 5 320 “Wildcat Lake” processor with a 2P+4LPE CPU, and Xe3 iGPU. Memory options include 8 GB and 16 GB LPDDR5X-7467. You get 512 GB of M.2 Gen 4 NVMe storage, compared to 256 GB on the Neo. Dell is offering the notebook for $600 to students, and $700 regularly.
