Addressing Advanced Embedded Applications Using Aratas Devices

Society is undergoing major changes, such as decarbonization, the electrification of mobility, advances in AI and high-speed communications, and demographic shifts. This evolution in the application space demands new solutions and technologies that also must continue to evolve. 

The increasing speed and capacity of telecommunications and IoT in society and the home will keep all products connected and operating stably, resulting in ever more convenient and comfortable lifestyles. Furthermore, it’s now commonplace that all such products are environmentally friendly.

To help realize this society, Aratas will create devices that support the spread of new energy and high-speed communications.

Aratas was established on July 1, 2026, as a spin-off within the Omron Group. It’s mission: “We harness innovative connections between people and technology to create a new tomorrow.” 

One of the company’s goals is to respond to the rapid changes in the world brought about by electrification progressing in all kinds of equipment and advances in AI. We talk with Samira Amani, Senior Product Marketing Manager, and Fabrizio Petris, Senior Strategic Marketing Manager, of Aratas about the embedded marketplace and the company’s plans to address it going forward.
