Zalman Shows CNPS-inspired ZET-series CPU Coolers and Slender Companion Screens
Remember Zalman Computer Noise Prevention System (CNPS) series coolers from 20 years ago, with their distinctive Ω-shaped design where copper heat pipes would loop through a toroidal arrangement of copper fins, ventilated by a fan on one end? Zalman is keeping the spirit fo that design alive with its latest ZET series CPU coolers. These look the same, barrel-shaped when viewed from outside their shrouds, but inside, the aluminium fins are stacked in a tower-type shape. The shroud ensured that all the airflow passes through the fin-stack, and there’s no bleed airflow.

The ZET3 is a mainstream product measuring 132 mm x 98 mm x 158 mm, with a single 120 mm hydro-bearing fan that turns between 600 and 2000 RPM. The cooler is rated for thermal loads of up to 210 W. The ZET5 is a more premium version, with a dual fin-stack design, and an inner conveyor fan. While the dimensions are the same, the cooler can take increased thermal loads of 240 W. The ZET7 is an even larger dual fin-stack cooler with fans in three end, which are modular. with Pogo-pin connections for easy disassembly. The cooler can take thermal loads of up to 260 W, competing in the league of AIOs.

The ZM-MF916 is a slender, rectangular display with a 9.16-inch diagonal, and dimensions of 269 mm x 70 mm x 15 mm.
