Innatera hooks up with Cyran for AI-at-the-edge

The companies have already delivered an EMG-based application prototype. The expanded collaboration will broaden the scope of development efforts into additional ultra-low-power AI applications, including wearable devices, audio intelligence, and other advanced edge AI use cases.
“Our partnership with Innatera has already demonstrated the potential of combining advanced sensing technologies with neuromorphic processing. As we expand our collaboration, we’re excited by the opportunity that this new class of compute creates for edge AI,” says Cyran’s Vikrant Khazanchi, “together we’re focused on developing practical AI solutions that can operate efficiently at the edge, enabling new experiences across wearables, intelligent sensing, and embedded AI applications.”
By combining Cyran’s expertise in intelligent sensing systems with Innatera’s neuromorphic processing technology, the partnership seeks to enable a new generation of devices capable of continuously sensing, interpreting, and responding to real-world signals while operating within stringent power constraints.
“India is emerging as one of the world’s most dynamic markets for intelligent, connected devices, creating tremendous opportunities for innovation at the edge,” says Innatera’s Shreyas Derashri, “by expanding our collaboration with Cyran AI, we’re bringing together neuromorphic computing and application expertise to enable ultra-low-power AI solutions for next-generation sensing applications. Together, we’re helping accelerate the adoption of practical, deployable edge AI technologies.”
