GMKtec Unveils 2nd Gen EVO-T2 Desktop AI Supercomputer with 180 TOPS

GMKtec unveiled its next-generation EVO-T2 Desktop AI Supercomputer Series during Intel’s 3rd-Generation Core Ultra processor launch event in Shanghai. Powered by Intel Core Ultra X9 388H and X7 358H processors based on the Panther Lake architecture, the EVO-T2 delivers up to 180 TOPS of AI computing power, positioning it as one of the most powerful desktop AI mini PCs available.

The system integrates Intel’s latest 18A (1.8nm-class) manufacturing technology, featuring RibbonFET gate-all-around transistors and PowerVia backside power delivery, marking a major milestone in Intel’s semiconductor roadmap.

The EVO-T2 combines CPU, GPU, and NPU acceleration to support advanced local AI workloads, enabling users to run large language models up to 70B parameters directly on the device without relying on cloud services.

To further optimize AI performance, GMKtec collaborated with Phison to integrate aiDAPTIV+ AI SSD technology, which dynamically extends memory capacity and reduces bottlenecks when processing large models.

Graphics performance is powered by the integrated Intel Arc B390 GPU with 12 Xe cores, supporting DirectX 12 Ultimate, real-time ray tracing, and Intel XeSS 3 AI upscaling.

Despite its compact footprint, the EVO-T2 offers extensive expansion capabilities, including:

  • Dual M.2 SSD slots (PCIe 5.0 + PCIe 4.0)
  • Up to 16 TB storage
  • USB4 with 40 Gbps bandwidth and 100 W power delivery
  • OCuLink external GPU support
  • 10GbE + 2.5GbE dual Ethernet networking

The system also ships with a pre-configured GMKtec Claw AI environment, allowing users to start running AI applications immediately out of the box.

The EVO-T2 Series will be available via the GMKtec official website soon.
