Silicon Power’s XPOWER Cyclone DDR5 RGB Wins iF Design Award 2026
Performance-Driven Design for the Next Generation
The XPOWER Cyclone DDR5 RGB series represents Silicon Power’s next step in high-performance gaming memory, including the company’s first Clocked Unbuffered DIMM (CUDIMM). Designed to meet the demands of modern gaming systems and performance computing, the modules support ultra-fast speeds of up to 9200 MT/s for smoother gameplay, faster data processing, and improved system responsiveness.
The CUDIMM variant integrates a Clock Driver (CKD) to enhance signal integrity and timing precision, ensuring stable performance even at extreme memory speeds. The series also supports Intel XMP 3.0 for one-click overclocking, along with a Power Management IC (PMIC) and On-Die ECC to maintain power efficiency, data integrity, and system reliability during intensive workloads.
Minimalist Aesthetics with Functional Cooling
A defining element of the award-winning design is the Cyclone’s distinctive angular heat spreader, inspired by minimalist geometric aesthetics and the dynamic energy of esports. The triangular motif creates a futuristic visual identity while also contributing to improved thermal performance.
Constructed with a 2 mm-thick aluminium heat spreader, the Cyclone effectively dissipates heat and can reduce module temperatures by more than 10°C during high-performance operation. The sleek RGB light bar adds another dimension to the design, offering customizable lighting effects that synchronize seamlessly with compatible system components for a unified gaming setup.
Recognition of Innovation and Design Excellence
Winning the iF Design Award 2026 reflects Silicon Power’s dedication to blending engineering excellence with thoughtful industrial design and its commitment to delivering products that combine powerful performance with striking visual design for the global gaming community.
