Minisforum at Computex 2026: Powerful Mini-PCs, Disk, and Flash NAS
Minisforum brought its finest new range of mini PCs, SOHO NAS, and M.2 NVMe NAS for production workflows, or running AI development that relies on flash storage. We begin our tour with the All-Flash S5, an M.2 NVMe DAS that can be operated as a NAS with the right software and network interface. The device is powered by an Intel Core Series 3 “Wildcat Lake” processor, and packs five M.2 NVMe Gen 4 slots for a total of 40 TB storage. The software feature-set includes an AI assistant powered by MinisOpenClaw, and MinisPhotos, a photo organizer with semantic search. The All-Flash S5 features an all-aluminium body, where the M.2 slots make contact with the case body, which doubles up as a heatsink.

The N5 MAX is another storage-intensive AI development platform. It’s based on the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 “Strix Halo” processor, paired with 64 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 unified memory. Storage options include five 3.5-inch HDD bays with SATA 6 Gbps backplanes, and five M.2 NVMe Gen 4 slots for up to 200 TB of storage. Connectivity options include two 10 GbE wired LAN interfaces, and USB4 V2 (80 Gbps). It gets the same software feature-set as the All-Flash S5.

The new Minisforum N4 is a 4-bay SOHO NAS with a bottom-to-top flow cooling system (Xbox Series X-style). It features four 3.5-inch drive bays with SATA 6 Gbps; and two M.2 NVMe Gen 4 x1 slots. Driving it all is an Intel Core Series 3 “Wildcat Lake” processor, 16 GB of LPDDR5X memory, and connectivity that includes a 10 GbE wired LAN, a second 2.5 GbE interface, and Wi-Fi 7 WLAN.Minisforum 895D7is an elegant, tower-type Mini-PC powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX “Dragon Range” 16-core/32-thread processor, with GPU options that include Radeon RX 9060 XT and GeForce RTX 5050/5060.

MS-03 is an entry-level Mini-PC powered by Core Ultra Series 3 “Panther Lake” processor, featuring a 50 TOPS NPU 5, and network connectivity that includes 10 GbE and Wi-Fi 7.

PCIE-to-4 is a compact add-on card that converts one PCIe Gen 4 x4 connection to four Gen 4 x1 slots. This isn’t a dumb lane splitter, it has other forms of connectivity that include SATA 6 Gbps connections to each of the four slots, and USB-C downstream connectivity.
