UMC to hike prices in H2

TSMC says it will be raising prices four years running starting this year.

Advanced nodes (3nm, 4nm, 5nm) are expected to see price hikes of 3-10%.

2nm wafers are expected to cost $30k+ – a more than 50% increase compared to 3nm wafers

2026 expected price increases are: up to 10% for AI and HPC, 7% for CPUs, and around 5% for smartphone chips.
