Schenker Announces Connect 15 Office Laptop

Schenker CONNECT 15 with Intel Core 5 120U and up to 64 GB RAM
Compared to the established WORK and WORK Base series, the 15.6-inch Schenker CONNECT 15 (E26) offers a range of additional functional features. Its plastic chassis measures 361 x 239 x 21 mm and weighs 1.75 kg.
The laptop is powered by an Intel Core 5 120U with 10 cores (2 P-cores, 8 E-cores) and 12 threads. It operates at 28 watts under sustained load and up to 35 watts during short load peaks, placing it well above Intel’s specified 15-watt base power. The cooling system, including phase-change Honeywell PTM7950 thermal compound, works in combination with the available performance profiles to ensure quiet operation while also delivering sustained maximum performance without thermal throttling, even under full load at 28 watts.
Two SO-DIMM slots support up to 64 GB of freely configurable DDR5 RAM with speeds of up to 5200 MT/s, while an M.2 SSD with a PCI Express 4.0 interface completes the core specification. Both the RAM and the SSD are fitted with thermal pads to reduce operating temperatures, helping to ensure consistently high performance and improved longevity.
Communication via mobile networks, Wi-Fi 7, or Ethernet
The CONNECT 15 offers a wide range of options for connecting to different networks. In addition to modern Wi-Fi 7, the laptop features a freely accessible Gigabit LAN port without a flip-down cover, as well as an optional LTE module for 4G mobile connectivity. The required nano-SIM card slot can be accessed without tools via an access panel with a captive coin screw on the bottom shell of the laptop.
Advanced security features including Smart Card reader
Smart Cards continue to be used in many corporate and public sector environments for user authentication on laptops or internal networks, as well as for storing cryptographic keys and digital signatures. The Schenker CONNECT 15 addresses this requirement with an integrated Smart Card reader compliant with ISO/IEC 7816. Further security features include a TPM 2.0 module (dTPM) implemented in dedicated hardware and a fingerprint reader for reliable biometric login.
The laptop meets the requirements for Microsoft Secured-core PC Level 3 thanks to Intel TXT (Intel Trusted Execution Technology) support on both the CPU and BIOS side. It also supports SSD hardware encryption, while the Full HD webcam includes a physical privacy shutter and an LED activity indicator.
Versatile connectivity including Thunderbolt 4
In addition to the network connectivity options and Smart Card reader mentioned above, the Schenker CONNECT 15 offers a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB-A 2.0 port, HDMI 1.4b with HDCP 2.3, a 2-in-1 audio jack for headphones and microphone, and a microSD card reader.
The laptop’s Thunderbolt 4 port supports DisplayPort 1.4a, enabling display resolutions of up to 4K at up to 144 Hz, as well as Power Delivery with 65 watts via a USB‑C power adapter. As standard, the CONNECT 15 is supplied with a compact 45-watt power adapter with a barrel plug, measuring 90 x 40 x 26.5 mm and weighing 269 g including the EU power cable. This means neither of the two USB-C ports is occupied while charging the laptop. The higher optional charging power of 65 watts via Power Delivery reflects the fact that USB-C travel power supplies are typically not designed for the same peak and surge loads as conventional laptop power supplies.
400-nit display, quick-release battery and keyboard with white backlighting
With its 400-nit brightness, the 16:9 IPS panel with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) stands out in the office laptop segment, where this level of brightness is far from standard. The display offers wide viewing angles and covers more than 90 percent of the sRGB color space.
The 55 Wh battery can be replaced without tools using a quick-release mechanism on the underside of the laptop, which is convenient for maintenance purposes or when using several batteries in parallel, especially as it weighs only around 260 g.
The keyboard also offers a high level of functionality. Features include a full-size numeric keypad, full-size arrow keys and a Fn lock function for permanently switching the F keys to their secondary functions. In addition, the keyboard provides multi-level adjustable white backlighting and 1.8 mm key travel. The 120 x 72.5 mm Microsoft Precision touchpad supports automatic palm rejection to prevent input errors, as well as multi-finger gestures.
