83.7% Q1 Sales Jump For Top 5 NAND Suppliers

The shortage of SSDs was exacerbated by the continuing shortage of HDDs.

In Q2, the supply-demand imbalance is expected to persist. The major NAND Flash suppliers will add virtually no new production capacity in 2026, says TrendForce, and supply shortages are expected to last throughout the year.

Samsung stayed No.1 with Q1 NAND revenue growing 104.7% QoQ to$13.51 billion.

SK hynix Group (which includes SK hynix and Solidigm) was second place with a 44.6% QoQ revenue rise to $7.53 billion for acmarket share of 17.6%.

Kioxia grew Q1 revenue 80% QoQ to $5.96 billion for the third-place ranking with a 13.9% market share.

Micron had a  96.7% QoQ jump to $5.95 billion, for a market share of 13.9% –  tied with SanDisk for fourth place.

SanDisk had a 200%+ rise in its datacentre business for revenues of $5.95 billion and a 13.9% market share.
