AEWIN Launches NCT802 8-port 10GbE Network Expansion Modules with Intel E610 Controllers

Intel Ethernet Controller E610-XAT2 features over 50% lower power consumption compared to previous generation controller (X710-AT2) which helps to reduce operational costs in the meantime. In addition, Intel committed over 10-year full support lifecycle which makes it perfect to build new projects that are expected to have long-term support. For enhanced Ethernet security, Intel E610-XAT2 features a hardware Root of Trust (RoT) for firmware resiliency.

The NCT802 has 8-port 10GbE RJ45 and four pairs of AEWIN Gen 4 Bypass. Beyond maintaining traffic flow in bypass mode, AEWIN Gen 4 LAN Bypass introduces Drop Mode (blocking traffic for enhanced security) and Link-Loss Mode (simulating a physical link disconnection to allow upstream devices to detect failure and trigger failover). They enable greater flexibility to allow network behavior to be aligned with either availability or security priorities depending on deployment scenarios.
Furthermore, the NCT802 features SR-IOV functionality. By sharing a single I/O resource between multiple virtual machines, the NICs have great scalability for diverse networking solutions. Additionally, the supported virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq) technology offloads the traffic handling to the network controller by enabling a single NIC port to be presented as multiple virtual ports assigned for individual VMs which enhances virtualization performance.
AEWIN offers wide ranges of front-access NICs, standard PCIe NICs, network appliances, and servers as ready-to-use solutions. Customers can easily manage their supply chain with great efficiency by simply contacting AEWIN. If you are interested in any of the solutions, do not hesitate to discuss your needs with us!
