Colorful Magnex XC87 Premium Magnetic Keyboards Launches at Computex 2026

Colorful introduced its first premium magnetic keyboards at Computex 2026 showcasing by the new Magnex XC87 and Magnex XC87 Lila. Both feature an 80% TKL layout, aluminium body, custom magnetic switches, PC keycaps, an MCL chamberless mount structure, 8,000 Hz polling, a small OLED display, a control knob, and wired connectivity. The standard XC87 keyboard uses Rainstar magnetic switches, while the XC87 Lila comes with Jadeite switches and purple-themed keycaps.

The Mech QY98 Pro and Mech QY98 mechanical keyboards were also on display in the Colorful booth, both having an 98% layout, leaf-spring mounting and wired, Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4 GHz connectivity. The QY98 Pro features Skyblue switches, PBT keycaps with five-sided dye-sublimation and an 8,000 mAh battery. The non-pro QY98 uses Starfrost switches, double-shot PBT keycaps with five-sided dye-sublimation and a smaller 4,000 mAh battery.

Also on display was the flagship Magnex QY98 Ultra magnetic keyboard launched in December last year. This came equipped with Purplelight switches, a leaf-spring mount design, tri-mode connectivity, and a 10,000 mAh battery.
