Cougar Unveils New AI Workstation NU-series PC Cases and Prototype WS Series PSUs at Computex 2026

Cougar came in force to the Computex 2026 show in Taipei, unveiling a bunch of new PC cases, AIO liquid and air coolers, and fans, as well as a whole new NU-series of PC cases and WS-series power supply units, both aimed at AI workstations.

Both the NU 700 and the NU 500 have support for ATX, CEB, E-ATX, and SSI-EEB motherboards, have multi-GPU support with up to 8 slots on the NU 700 and up to 7 slots on the NU 500. The larger NU 700 is a full tower PC case and has support for two CRPS PSUs, can fit a 480 mm long graphics cards, and a 420 mm radiator at the top and up to 360 mm one at the front. It also supports up to seven fans, with three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans at the front, three 120/140 mm at the top, and a single 120/140 mm at the back. The NU 500 is a slightly smaller mid-tower version, but it still supports the same motherboard form factors. It supports graphics cards up to 380 mm long and can house only four fans, with three 120 mm or two 140 mm at the front and a single 120 mm at the back. It also can accommodate up to a 360 mm radiator at the front and lacks support for two PSUs but still has the same workstation-class design.

In addition to the new NU-series of PC cases for AI workstations, Cougar also unveiled prototypes of the WS-series modular power supplies that are shown in 1,600 W, 2,400 W, and 3,200 W versions. The entire series surpasses ATX 3.1 standards and promises 200 percent power excursion dynamic outputs, up to four native PCIe 5.1 12V-2×6 gold-plated connectors, 80 Plus Platinum certification, 100% Japanese capacitors, all the usual protections, and a fluid dynamic bearing fan with Zero RPM mode. The 1,600 W and the 2,400 W models are also packed in a smaller 180 mm long chassis, while the 3,200 W model is slightly longer.

Unfortunately, Cougar still does not have a precise release date, but, hopefully, we will have more information about the NU-series of PC cases and WS-series PSUs soon.
