Arctic Showcases Liquid Freezer Series AIO CLCs for Large CPU Sockets

Arctic showed us a range of Liquid Freezer series all-in-one (AIO) closed-loop liquid CPU coolers for larger CPU socket types, namely the Intel LGA4677, LGA4710, and AMD TR5 and SP6. AI inferencing has renewed interest in the HEDT and workstation segments, as these machines can comfortably connect four GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards with full x16 host interfaces. This also creates space for the market to serve other aspects of the machine, such as CPU cooling.
The company showcased its LGA4710 water block that has an internal microfin lattice that’s optimized for the “Granite Rapids” tile-based processor. This block will be available with the Liquid Freezer WS360-4710, 2U-4710, 2U-4710×2, 4U-4710, and 4U-4710×2. Then there’s the company’s SP6 water block, which has an internal microfin lattice that takes into account the chiplet arrangement of Ryzen Threadripper PRO and EPYC processors in the package. Coolers include the WS360-SP6, 2U-SP6, 2U-SP6x2, 4U-SP6, and 4U-SP6x2. Both these blocks have rack-friendly side-facing coolant fittings. The cooler has chunky 38 mm-thick radiators, and high static-pressure fans; which meet the 600 W-ish peak TDP of these processors.
