The AORUS INFINITY series is engineered for gamers and power users, delivering a premium solution that seamlessly combines cutting-edge thermal innovation with top-tier computing performance. It introduces the revolutionary WINDFORCE Hyperburst cooling system, featuring a breakthrough Double Flow Through design that creates an unobstructed airflow path and significantly boosts thermal efficiency. Building on this, a hidden Overdrive fan at the center of the card operates on a dedicated fan curve and automatically activates during peak GPU loads, providing extra cool air to ensure optimal performance under extreme conditions.
Industry-leading WINDFORCE Hyperburst cooling system
The WINDFORCE Hyperburst cooling system features a groundbreaking Double Flow Through design, enabling both fans to push cool air directly through the heatsink and create an unobstructed airflow path. For a compact graphics card, this design features a doubled hollow-out backplate for pass-through airflow, delivering up to 58% more airflow than a traditional backplate and up to 28% more than a single hollow-out design. It effectively optimizes airflow paths, reduces heat buildup, and significantly enhances overall cooling efficiency.
Beyond its innovative airflow architecture, the AORUS INFINITY series features dynamic thermal management through its ‘Overdrive fan’ design. Subtly concealed in the card’s mid-section, this hidden fan enables the performance of a triple-fan system while maintaining a dual-fan aesthetic. Powered by a dedicated fan curve, the Overdrive fan automatically triggers under peak GPU loads, providing a blast of cool air to ensure sustained peak performance and system stability during high-frequency operations.
At the same time, the WINDFORCE Hyperburst cooling system integrates multiple advanced thermal technologies to enhance overall cooling performance. The patented Hawk fan design reduces airflow turbulence and noise while delivering up to a 53.6% increase in air pressure and a 12.5% boost in air volume, while maintaining low noise levels. For the thermal structure, a large vapor chamber directly contacts the GPU to speed up heat transfer, while superconducting heat pipes with different capillary structures improve thermal efficiency across different heat zones. In addition, a high-performance composite metal grease is used on the GPU to improve thermal conductivity. For critical components such as VRAM and MOSFETs, server-grade thermal conductive gel with high deformability and non-flowing properties is applied to ensure stable contact on uneven surfaces and long-term reliability.
